Storytelling, Literature and Respect
Over the summer, Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School media literacy teacher Johanna Mustacchi and English language arts teacher Matthew Zinman were invited to take part in the Pleasantville-based Jacob Burns Film Center’s Summer Teachers Institute.

Fourth-Graders Thank Veterans

Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School fourth-graders penned letters to veterans in honor of Veterans Day.


Students, Faculty Come Together During Unity Day

The Croton-Harmon School District celebrated Unity Day on Oct. 22. Students in each school took part in activities and assemblies emphasizing a bullying prevention message. Croton-Harmon High School was the first high school in the county to adopt the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program.

To further discuss CET building issues we have assembled a panel discussion that will be held on
Monday, November 17 from 7 pm – 8:30 p.m. in the CET multipurpose room.
Panel participants will discuss testing results and offer perspectives on our investigations to date (including the medical perspectives of air quality issues).  To give our experts time to prepare for the evening, and to ensure that all concerns get addressed we ask that you submit your questions in advance of the November 17 meeting.
